Be courageous! We often have moments where we have to channel our second Dojo Kun, and what better way to be courageous in the dojo than by breaking through something solid. You all did an amazing effort at being courageous and testing yourselves during Board Breaking week. For some, you also did a fantastic job of never giving up☺️

A huge thank you as well to everyone who participated, and for helping to raise funds to support the 2026 Asia Pacific Gasshuku!

Taking inspiration from Sensei David Lambert and his recent post on Seichusen and posture, we spent time on Monday night working on our posture in our katas. Using the beanbags gave us an opportunity to identify where our posture still has some room for improvement, especially as we got higher up the katas. It was definitely not as easy as Sensei DJ made it look!

The boards are here, all that needs to happen is for them to be broken! Just a reminder, for those who have ordered boards and only train on Mondays, you will be break your boards tonight. For those who attend either both Mondays and Thursdays or only Thursdays, you will be breaking your boards on Thursday!
