ROUND 18 RESULTS ✅

14/08/2026

Congratulations to Mark O’Brien who today plays his 150th game in the Red & Black!

He has been a consistent fixture of the Latrobe Football Club since making his debut in the 2012 Under 19s side. Mobbla made his senior debut the following year and has been a valued member of our Men’s teams ever since.

Mark’s ability to read the play and his unflappable nature make him a defender who can be relied upon to get the job done, as well as making those around him better.

Despite being “too old for this sh*t”, Mobbla is still a highly valued member of the Senior and Reserves teams, whose unselfishness sees him put the Club’s need above his own, even playing in the ruck when asked.

Another shining example of Mark’s club-first mentality saw him put his hand up to be the assistant coach of our Reserves side this season, where he has been able to pass on his football know how to the next generation of Trobers.

Well Done Mobbla!!!

This weekend we’re celebrating 100 games for Nat Cappelletti!! ❤️🖤

Nat joined the Trobers in 2017 and across her 100 games has become one of those players every team needs – reliable, versatile and always willing to do whatever is asked of her.

While much of her footy has been played as a small forward, Nat’s ability to adapt has seen her take on plenty of different roles over the years. Whether it’s forward, higher up the ground or out on the wing – including some of her best footy during our Premiership campaign – she has always found a way to contribute wherever the team has needed her.

Nat’s toughness was probably established pretty early in her career when a badly broken leg seemed to traumatise most of her teammates more than it did her! That ability to take things in her stride has become a trademark of Nat’s.

Quietly dependable and incredibly team-first, Nat has been a constant presence in our playing group for almost a decade. She’s a Premiership player, a much-loved teammate and someone who has earned every one of the 100 games she’ll run out for this weekend.

Congratulations on 100 games, Nat! An incredible achievement and one we’re very proud to celebrate with you. ❤️🖤

This weekend we’re celebrating 100 games for Kaitlyn Ritchie!! ❤️🖤

Ritchie first joined the Trobers in 2017, starting her career in the forward line and quickly showing how much she loved having the footy in her hands and finding ways to influence the game.

Following a one-season hiatus in 2022, Ritchie returned to the Trobers in 2023 – this time as a defender. Over the past four seasons, she’s become an incredibly important part of our backline.

Ritchie’s trademark is her ability to play off her opponent and impact both ways. She’s a tough match-up defensively, but just as importantly, she creates for us going the other way – whether that’s getting involved in our ball movement, taking the game on or sneaking forward for the occasional goal. Anyone who has had to play on her at training knows just how difficult she can be to beat!

A Premiership player and a strong leader within our defensive group, Ritchie brings confidence, competitiveness and plenty of energy to the way we play. She backs herself, supports the players around her and has become someone we can rely on week after week.

100 games is a fantastic achievement, well done Ritchie. ❤️🖤

After debuting for the Club in 2019, Cal Randell will play his 50th game for the Club this weekend against Albert Park.

Cal’s journey to 50 games hasn’t been an easy one with injuries and other challenges interrupting multiple seasons in the Red & Black. He returned to the Club in 2023 after being called upon, as many a past Trober is, to fill in for the Reserves.

Cal has been a consistent fixture at Tony Sheehan Oval, even taking on the role of Co-Coaching the Reserves in 2025. And we can’t speak about 2025 without mentioning Cal’s 19 goals against Eley Park, on his way to a career best goal kicking season.

Well Done Cal!!!

This weekend we’re celebrating 50 games for Ella! ❤️🖤

Ella joined the Trobers in 2023, beginning her career through the midfield before a move to the wing midway through the 2024 season saw her game really take off.

A natural left-footer, Ella quickly made the wing her own. Her ability to find space, use the ball well and create opportunities going forward has made her one of our most dependable players. More than anything, it’s her consistency – you know exactly what you’re going to get from Ella every single week.

We’ve seen that across our last two finals campaigns, and again at the beginning of this season when she started the year in incredible form, before a broken finger unfortunately put things on hold.

Now back in the side, Ella continues to be someone we can rely on wherever the team needs her.

Ella is incredibly reliable, team-first and someone who just gets the job done. We’re very lucky to have her in the red and black and can’t wait to see what the next 50 brings.
