DNA Aquatics is getting ready for a busy season ahead, and we need to add more Swim Teachers to our amazing team! 💙

👉 No previous swim teaching experience? That’s okay!

We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with children and would love to learn a new skill.

We want to start training NOW, so you have plenty of time to learn our programs, shadow our experienced teachers and build your confidence before taking on your own classes.

🩵 Forgotten Something for Swimming? We’ve Got You! 🩵

Parents, we know the feeling… you’ve packed the towels, swimmers, goggles, snacks, water bottle and half the house 😂 — and then realise you’ve forgotten the swim nappy! 🤦‍♀️

No stress and definitely no big deal!

If you arrive at swimming and realise you've forgotten one, just pop into the pool office and see Donna. I always keep a little supply of swim nappies on hand in Small–Medium and Medium–Large.

💙 It’s completely FREE — just a little kindness we like to offer our DNA families because we know how easy it is to forget something when you’re trying to get everyone out the door!

And a little side note… we’re pretty well prepared for those “oops!” moments! 😂 We also have spare goggles, swim caps, headbands, some spare swimwear and even a spare towel at the pool office — all available to borrow at no charge.

So please don’t stress or turn around and go home. Just come and see me and we’ll do our best to get your swimmer sorted and into their lesson. 🏊‍♀️💦

📣 When is the best time to secure your new Play On! Sports Voucher?

Applications for Play On! Sports Vouchers will open on 27 July, with up to $200 available to help Queensland kids aged from 5-17 participate in sport.

There will be two opportunities to apply this financial year.

If you’re planning ahead for summer sport, it’s best to apply this round. If your focus is on winter sports like netball or football, you may prefer to wait for the round later this financial year.

🏊‍♂️ What an Incredible Two Weeks of Private Intensive BLOCKS! 🏊‍♀️

We couldn't be prouder of what our swimmers have achieved over our Winter Private Intensive BLOCKS!

So many swimmers have made outstanding progress, with many now ready to move up to their next swimming level. It really shows what can happen with consistent, focused practice and individual attention.

A huge well done to all of our amazing swimmers, and an even bigger thank you to our wonderful parents for investing in your child's swimming journey. Your commitment and consistency make all the difference.

One of the things that makes our Intensive BLOCKS so unique is the attention to detail we provide.
📋 On Monday, each swimmer receives an individual assessment where their teacher identifies exactly what skills need to be developed throughout the week.
📋 By Friday, every family receives an email with personalised progress report outlining:
💙 What was worked on
💙 What was achieved
💙 The skills that will continue to be the focus during the term

These reports are then shared with your regular swim teacher, ensuring every lesson continues to build on the progress already made. There is no guessing... just a clear, individual plan for every swimmer.

This level of communication, planning and continuity is something we're incredibly proud to offer. It's just one of the many ways DNA Aquatics is different. We don't just teach swimming... we genuinely focus on every child as an individual and celebrate every step of their journey.
