2026 JUNIOR BREAK-UP SUNDAY 30 AUG 3pm-6pm:

With over 500 RSVPs please note some important info about tomorrow’s event;

🚗 PARKING: Please utilise the bottom car park (access via Killer St), and street parking on Killer and Osborn Street + parking around the clubhouse.

🌭🧁BBQ & BAR: Sausages will be $3.50 each or 3 for $10 AND Cupcakes $3 each. Cash and EFTPOS available for food and bar. BBQ will run from 3pm-6pm.

🏆 PRESENTATIONS: Presentations will start at 5pm. See map for trophy presentation areas. U5-U10 near Osborn St and U10-U14/15 between F1 &

INTO THE GRAND FINAL! Congratulations to our Men’s team for winning their Semi-Final tonight 6-2 vs Waves! To top it off the boys were also presented with their Minor Premiership Trophy and medallions after an undefeated season!

The guys will now proceed to the Grand Final which will be held on Friday 11 September at 8:30pm 💥

MINOR PREMIERS: Well done to our Senior Men’s team for taking out this season’s Wide Bay North Division 1 Men Minor Premiership, being undefeated all season!! The boys will now have a week off before taking to the field in the Semi Finals on Friday 28 August! 👏

While our Women’s team’s season has come to an end, we’re incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and the effort, commitment and spirit they have shown throughout the season!

🎉 After 20 Years at the Helm, It's Time to Celebrate "Halpo"! 🎉

At the end of the 2026 season, Andrew "Halpo" Halpin will be retiring as President of Diggers FC after an incredible 20 years in the club's top job.

To thank him for his dedication, commitment and countless hours of service, we're putting together a special memory book filled with messages, stories, memories and photos from everyone who has known him throughout his time at Diggers FC.

🏡 ⚽️HOME GAME WRAP UP

A huge shout out to all our players, supporters, volunteers, and everyone who came along to make Saturday's home games a fantastic afternoon/evening at Diggers FC!

Our Women's team battled hard to secure a well-earned 2–0 victory, while our Men's team fought out a thrilling 1–1 draw in a nail-biting contest.

A special thank you to the junior players who proudly walked out with our men's team and took part in the halftime mini game. Your energy and enthusiasm helped make the evening even more special!

Finally, a big thank you to Gin Gin for agreeing to move the fixture to Saturday and making the trip to Diggers FC. We appreciate your cooperation and sportsmanship (and to the guys for swapping jerseys! 😅💜🩷)
