We’re incredibly proud to share that Dance It South West has been nominated for the 2026 WA Community Achievement Awards – Australia Business for Good Award.
Dance It South West has always been about more than dance. It’s about creating a place where all people feel safe, supported, included and valued where they can build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging.
We believe in supporting our families, giving back to our community and creating opportunities for young people wherever we can. We don’t do it for recognition, it’s simply part of who we are and what we want our studio to represent.
To be recognised for Business for Good means more than we can put into words. Whatever happens next, we’re already incredibly proud. 💜

Today is International Day of Friendship. A day that celebrates the power of human connection, kindness, and the friendships that help create a more peaceful and supportive world.
In the dance world, friendship is so much more than sharing the stage. It's the reassuring smile before a performance, the helping hand when learning something new, the encouragement to keep going, and the trust that allows dancers to achieve things they never thought possible.
This photo is a beautiful reminder that behind every confident performance is someone cheering you on, guiding you, and believing in you. The strongest dancers aren't those who stand alone, they're the ones who lift each other up, celebrate each other's successes, and grow together as a team.
