Congratulations to Logan Bowden on signing with Colts Cricket Club for the 2026/27 Bunbury & Districts Cricket Association campaign.

Set to call Western Australia and Bunbury Recreation Oval home for the summer, Logan will embark on an exciting new challenge as he begins his overseas journey Down Under.

He’s arguably our most promising recruit to date, he’s keen and he’s locked in… we can’t wait to get him in the yellow and black 🔏🟡⚫️👏

Our junior system has always had a rich history and success producing a long list of exceptional cricketers, in particular two current WA state players.

But the 2025/26 season lead to some remarkable team performances where our junior teams dominated.

Our club won 3 from 4 grades with our Year 11-12 team narrowly missing playing off in a highly talented grand final.

Well done to all players and a massive thank you to the coaches who volunteered so much time to our young players.

A particular big thank you to Easty who does an amazing job coordinating our juniors system 👏🏻

The retirement of the greatest player our club has ever seen, Murray Goodwin, cannot go without acknowledgment and recognition.

Some records are made to be broken... but there’s a good chance that these may stand for a very long time.

He leaves the game as our club's all-time leader in matches, runs, batting average, centuries and half-centuries.

But the stats only tell part of the story.

For nearly two decades, Murray set the standard for what it meant to represent the cricket club. His legacy won't just be measured by the records he leaves behind, but by the standard he set for everyone who followed.

For more than 40 years, the Goodwin family has been an enormous part of our club and association.

To Murray, Tarsh, Jayden, Ashton, Penny and George thank you. The impact your family has had on our club reaches far beyond the scoreboard, and it will never be forgotten.
