What to expect at Gentle Yoga with Gyani
~ A slow and gentle Hatha yoga class including gentle poses for mobility, strength and flexibility, breathing practices, and yoga nidra (guided relaxation) to finish.
~ Gentle yoga can be practiced by just about anyone, regardless of age or physical condition. It is especially great for people with injuries, pain, mobility or health issues, or new to yoga.
~ A gentle yoga practice is a great choice for anyone who prefers a softer, gentler approach to yoga.
~ Classes are small - average of 5-8 students so you can be easily assisted by teacher to give suitable modifications for poses.
~ Our Gentle yoga classes are on Mondays 10-11.30am during school term time. There's no need to book - you can just come down 10 mins before the class begins. All are welcome. 🙏

What to expect at one of our Hatha Yoga classes with Gyani:
Mondays 5.15-6.30pm
Tuesdays 10-11.30am
Thursdays 5.30-6.30pm
~ Classes are a slow to medium pace and are not as physically demanding as a Flow class, so are suitable for all levels including beginners as postures can be easily modified with props.
~ You’ll get an introduction to basic yoga postures with time to focus on alignment.
~ During each class the whole body is targeted with postures for building strength, mobility and flexibility.
~ There’ll be an emphasis on the breath and some pranayama (breathing techniques) will be taught.
~ The class will always end with a relaxation and if time a Yoga Nidra (guided deep relaxation).
~ You probably won’t work up much of a sweat but will leave feeling like the whole body has been stretched, and you’ll be more calm and relaxed.
Classes are always open to casual attendance so just come to class at least 10mins before to get a spot (first come first serve).
You can see our full timetable pinned to top of our FB page. 🙏🏻
