Let's be honest...

It's no secret that plenty of WA fishers have been frustrated with the changes over the last few years. Whether you agree with every decision or not, it's been a tough time for a lot of people.

That said, credit where it's due... DPIRD didn't have to create the Tackle Shop Rebate Program, but they did. If there's an opportunity to put a bit of money back into the hands of local fishers & spearos, we're all for making the most of it.

We're now an approved Tackle Shop Rebate retailer, so if you're looking at replacing or upgrading eligible spearfishing equipment, you may be able to claim the rebate.

Need a fresh set of gun rubbers? A new float line? Time to replace some worn-out gear? If it's an eligible item, there's a good chance DPIRD will be helping with the bill.

So while we might all have our opinions, we can probably agree on one thing.. if someone's offering to help pay for your next gun rubber, it'd be rude not to take them up on it. 😉
