22 players for social bowls today. Teams were rearanged at half time. In the end there were 5 players who won both there games. Anne Blechynden was the winner with 2 + 12, followed by Ray Batt with 2 + 11. Third went to Richard Hindle on 2 + 9, followed by Vic Searle with 2 + 7. Vern Humble was fifth with 2 + 5.

Happy birthday to Darren Frazer, members draw. Dot DeBoer not there, next week $400.
Next Friday is our Christmas in July, theme for the night is a hat, either funny, fancy, home made, or just your everyday one, book your table now as limited numbers, money to be paid by this Thursday.

Only 2 two game winners for Thursday bowls. Karen Davies and Super Boot Murray Cooper won the day with 2 + 21. Ross Brown and Preston Cain were second with 2 + 19. Jeanine Humble and Ted Pelusey took out third with 1 win + 26. Ken Dent and Tony Pelle were the second game winners with + 13.

Get your teams in for this seasons # # Men's Four's held on the 29th and 30th of September. Teams can be entered through our Administrator, Steve Bark, with an $80 deposit. The last Bunbury team to nominate will be held as a reserve in the event of odd numbers.
a good field of 48 players participated in the Retravision Cash Pairs this afternoon. There were 8 two game winners. Prizes went down to fifth place. The unlucky bowlers were Jeanine Humble, Ted Pelusey, Brad Bevis, Merrilyn Reynolds, Anne Blechynden and Lek McFarland. Arthur Putland and Garry Baker were a last minute team formed by Dale to make even numbers and they won the day with 2 + 26. Steve Bryant and Murray Morgan were second with 2 + 19. Third went to Gary Giblett and Paul Bartholomew on 2 + 18. Da;le Richards and Glenn Miller were fourth with 2 + 15. Ray Batt and Barry Carlson were fifth with 2 + 12. The greens were in tip top condition thanks to Spadda.

27 players for Saturday Disc in Bowls. Claude English won the Scroungers. In the pairs Trevor Potter and Ted Pelusey won the day with 2 wins plus 36. Second place went to Noel Scott and Richard Hindle with 2 plus 31. Jarrod Walker and Anne Blechynden were third with 2 plus 15. Thank you to Geoff Little for running the day.

Volunteers are needed to help John Ballantyne at the sausage sizzle on the first night of the men's # # in September and to help Lyn McLean and John Mellor with the Corporate bowlers in the summer. the role would be out on the greens looking after mats and Jacks and scoreboards and glasses.
