A look through the 50 games of Barks at the Bunbury Eagles plus when he represented The Onshore Cup in Country Week 👌

This Saturday we head on down the road to tackle the Boyanup Boars Football Club in Barks big 50!!

What a fitting game that it's against Boyanup who hosts us in Barks 50th club game after he was the founding member back in 2017 of the Boars.

We are frothing the chance to get back to footy after a bye last round.

It's always a great game of footy between us and the boars so head on down the road and help us celebrate an absolute great of the Bunbury Eagles in Matt Barker!!

Barks as he is known has played a massive part in the Bunbury Eagles history.

The list could go on for what Barks has contributed to not only the Bunbury Eagles but the whole OCFA, without all the accolades from previous clubs.

Congratulations on a stellar career Barks and the effort to get yourself back into career best form after a big ankle injury last year.

We are stoked to have you a part of BEFC history and congratulations for making 50 games for the BEFC!

Our throw back today is to Matthew Blake who took out the 2021 inaugural fairest and best award with 33 votes.

Blakey joined the club in 2021 from Bunbury Bulldogs and never wavered his commitment to the yellow and blue since then, A world champion BMX rider we have been lucky to have Blakey run out each season in the Number 5.

We can't wait to see all our past players on the 8th of August.

As we lead up to our past players day in 5 weeks time, we thought we would have some throwbacks from previous years so keep an eye out over the next 5 weeks for some crackers!
