We opened August with four runners stepping out at Pinjarra last Monday.

Charlies Tactics enjoyed a good run but couldn't chase down the leader and ran another placing.

Oakley stuck on well for third over the lightning lap sprint when racing in the breeze throughout.

Swizzlestick was a close-up fourth in a blanket finish before Turbo Jay broke when at the rear of the field coming off the back straight.

We took two runners at Gloucester Park on Friday at the end of last month.

Saifa was a nice effort to run into third place from a midfield position, but Goodtime Louis was left in the breeze twice and was entitled to fade to run midfield.

A large contingent of four runners represented the stable at Donaldson Park in Bunbury on the last Saturday in July.

Sizzle Oro, Oakley and Swizzlestick were all thereabouts without registering placings.

Charlies Tactics was a well-fancied favourite and looked to have the race in his keeping but took short steps near to the finish and was claimed by the swoopers.

On Friday July 24 we took the same three runners to Gloucester Park as the week before.

Gully Gum and Saifa both enjoyed economical runs but were badly held up down the straight.

Goodtime Louis produced a strong showing, sitting outside the leader and sticking on stoutly to run third.

Three runners on a Friday night at headquarters in mid-July without much luck or success.

Saifa was able to secure the run three back on the pegs from barrier 12 but never got a crack at them when disappointed for racing room.

Gully Gum raced rearwards and wasn't able to make ground on the leaders while Goodtime Louis sat closer to the speed but didn't finish off as well as some of his rivals.

Two runners represented the stable at Donaldson Park on Saturday night.

Oakley ran below market expectations when eighth but Swizzlestick was a close-up third as an outsider at good each-way odds.

A strong team of four runners headed up to Gloucester Park on Friday night.

Goodtime Louis ran into fourth and Gully Gum made late ground out wide when flooding into fifth.

Turbo Jay made a break at release and now finds himself out of the mobile draw.

Blazing Reactor had a good run in transit but wasn't able to bridge the gap in the closing stages.

No luck for our two runners at Pinjarra last week.

Oakley was inconvenienced at the start when the polemarker broke, forcing Gary Hall Jnr to take evasive action before flooding home into a fast-finishing fourth.

Swizzlestick went back at the start and was disappointed for a run all of the way up the straight so forget he went around.
