Bocce Victoria

Sunday 18th July saw the KICC Cup held at the Knox club.
What a fantastic day it was. The event had teams from Casa D'Abruzzo Club, Morwell Bocce Club, Lazio-Marche Social and the Knox.

Old friends caught up.
Laughter and jokes were shared
But the common goal for the day was Volo.
Competition was fierce. Games were won by great bowlers or accurate shooters.

A great day of Raffa or Bocce doesn't just end once the game is over. Our bocce community even managed to squeeze in a spot of olive picking with our amazing Kyabram hosts! Great sport, great people and great memories.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Latrobe City Bocce Classic at Morwell Bocce Club on the weekend.

What a fantastic weekend of bocce! From the first ball rolled to the final end throw, the tournament showcased outstanding skill, great sportsmanship and the strong sense of community that makes our bocce family so special.

Congratulations to all the winners and placegetters on your well-deserved results, and a special congratulations to everyone who stepped onto the court. Every player, volunteer, official and supporter contributed to making the event such a success.

A huge thank you to Morwell Bocce Club for hosting another outstanding tournament. Your hard work, organisation and hospitality ensured a memorable weekend for everyone who travelled to Gippsland.

It was wonderful to see players of all ages and clubs coming together to enjoy great competition, friendships and the spirit of bocce. Events like these continue to strengthen our bocce community and remind us why we love this sport.

Well done to everyone involved - we’re already looking forward to the next one, the big 25 years of running an amazing La Trobe Classic!

What a Fantastic Day at Kyabram Bocce Club!

There is something special about bringing people together through sport, and that’s exactly what happened at the Kyabram Metro & Regional Social Raffa Competition.

Players from metropolitan and regional Victoria teamed up in random doubles, creating new friendships, sharing knowledge, and enjoying a day full of laughter, camaraderie and great competition. It wasn’t about where you came from, it was about coming together to celebrate the game we all love.

The courts were filled with smiles, encouragement and plenty of quality raffa, with experienced players helping newcomers, friendly rivalry, and everyone enjoying valuable court time. Days like these remind us that bocce is so much more than a sport - it builds community, creates connections and brings generations together.

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated and a sincere thank you to the volunteers and the Kyabram Bocce Club for hosting such a welcoming and enjoyable event. Your hospitality and dedication made the day a great success.
