Our 2 U16 Girls teams played with determination and great team spirit in Rockhampton at the U16 Girls HQ State Championships.

Team 1 competed in Division 1 and finished in equal 5th.
Team 2 competed in Division 3 and finished in 3rd place after just missing out on a spot in the Gold medal match.

Both teams pleyed with heart, determination and represented SCHA with pride.

Congratulations to both teams on a great performance 🏑🖤💛

Our U16 Boys had a fantastic tournament at the HQ State Hockey Championships in Townsville.
Our young men unfortunately went down 2-1 in the Gold Medal match to a strong and determined Fraser Coast team.
Congratualtions to all involved on a great show of sportsmanship, team work and dedication.
Further Congratulations to Tom Beaney for being the highest goal scorer of the tournament, with a total of 11 goals.

HQ U16 State Championships are into their final day of competition in Rockhampton and Townsville.

Our U16 Boys have had a brilliant tournament, with 5 wins and 1 draw which has seen them earn a spot in the Gold medal match today!

Our U16 girls team 1 are playing off for 5th position today after 1 win, 1 draw and 3 losses.

U16 girls team 2 have earnt the right to play for 3rd position today after their matches saw them with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.

Good luck to all 3 teams in your final games today.
We are confident you will play your hardest and and represent SCHA with pride 🏑💛🖤

The final HQ State Championships for 2026 are heading into their final day tomorrow, and we have some fabulous players in show at the U16 Girls and Boys events in Rockhampton and Townsville respectively.

All three teams are representing SCHA amazingly, and we wish them all the best as they head into their final day of competition 🏑🖤💛
