⚽ WE’RE LOOKING FOR COACHES!

AC Football Academy is looking for passionate, motivated and reliable football coaches to join our coaching team.

We’re looking for coaches who are committed to player development, enjoy working with young footballers, and want to contribute to a professional, positive and challenging training environment.

📍 Our Academy sessions operate across Melbourne:

Mondays — 6:00–7:30pm
Mosaic Reserve, Lalor

Wednesdays — 5:50–7:15pm
Mosaic Reserve, Lalor

Fridays — 6:00–7:30pm
Clifton Park, Brunswick

Saturdays — 10:30am–12:00pm
Clifton Park, Brunswick

You don’t necessarily need to be available for every session — we’d love to hear from coaches who can consistently contribute across one or more of these days.

🏆 Three fantastic days at the Veneto Club! ❤️🤍💙⚽

From Monday to Wednesday, our players embraced every challenge, creating unforgettable memories while continuing their football journey.

Our U7s and U8s showed incredible resilience, embraced every challenge and gained valuable tournament experience. 🌟

Our U9s overcame a slow start in the group stage, grew in confidence with every game and fought their way to the Grand Final, finishing as deserving runners-up. 👏

And our U10s finished the tournament in style, winning the Plate Cup with a fantastic 2-1 victory over Mel City in the final! 🏆💪

While results are always rewarding, what makes us most proud is the character, teamwork, resilience and passion our players displayed throughout the tournament. Every match was another opportunity to continue developing independent footballers who can think, adapt and perform with confidence.

A huge thank you to our incredible coaches for their commitment, our families for their unwavering support, our players for representing AC Academy with pride, and everyone who helped make these three days such a memorable experience.

After nearly 6 incredible years, it's time to say thank you to Mau. 💙⚽

From day one, Mau has been much more than a coach. He has been a mentor, a leader and a role model, helping shape not only better footballers, but better people.

His passion, professionalism and commitment have left a lasting impact on our players, families and the entire AC Football Academy community. The memories, lessons and relationships built over the years will always be part of our journey.

While it's never easy to say goodbye, we're incredibly grateful for everything you've given to the academy. We wish you nothing but success and happiness in your next chapter.

TERM 2 2026 ⚽🔥

We’re excited to welcome new players ready to sharpen their skills and elevate their game.

This term, our focus is all about mastering the first touch — developing both control and passing under pressure. Players will break down the technique behind medium and long passing, including our well-known “Alonso Technique” — a favourite among our academy players.

We’re excited to introduce Mohamed Ahmed as our Goalkeeper Coach at the Academy.

Mo is an enthusiastic, energetic, and highly driven coach who brings great charisma and passion to every session. While he may be early in his coaching journey, he has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best goalkeeper coaches in Melbourne and has competed with clubs such as South Melbourne and Port Melbourne.

Through these experiences, Mohamed has developed a strong understanding of the goalkeeper role, its demands, and its mindset. He is now eager and ready to pass that knowledge on to our young goalkeepers, helping them grow with confidence, enjoyment, and professionalism.
