Last Sunday, 4 Pines Park Brookvale was graced by the progenies of the great George Hugo, John & Jarvis.
George, a local junior from Harbord, played in Manly's first ever graded Grand Final Victory. That was Third Grade in 1952. George backed it up with a Reserve Grade Premiership in 1954. George also played in the Manly's First Grade Grand Final losses in 1957 & 1959.
Both of George's sons, John & Glen are proud members of the Manly Football Club (MWRLFC).
John's son Jarvis aspires to play for Manly one day, just as his Pop did. Maroon & White all day, everyday.

- MWRLFC holds the Preference Share in the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles Ltd which gives our members, through their right to vote, determination over the Team’s name, colours, and its home ground, as well as two voting positions on the MWSE Ltd Board which, like the Football Club has seven members.

- MWRLFC is not the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Limited (MWSE Ltd) which is a privately owned and separate legal entity administering and funding the Team.
