This upgrade is a fantastic investment in our club and has already made a huge difference, particularly during our recent Golden Mile Challenge.

Our club is run by volunteers, so having a modern, fully compliant kitchen makes catering for our members, competitors, officials, families and visitors so much easier.

We are incredibly grateful for the $30,000 election commitment and for the continued support of grassroots sport here in the Goldfields. 💙

🏁🏎️ A BIG WIN FOR THE EASTERN GOLDFIELDS KART CLUB! 🏎️🏁

The Eastern Goldfields Kart Club brand-new kitchen is officially COMPLETE! 🎉🙌

Delivered as part of a $30,000 WA Labor election commitment, this upgrade has transformed the club’s more than 30-year-old kitchen into a modern, fully compliant commercial kitchen. 👏✨

And it’s already making a huge difference! 💪

During the recent Golden Mile Challenge, around 200 people were hosted at the club over three days — with the new kitchen making it easier for volunteers to cater for competitors, officials, families and visitors. 🍔🍟☕️

The upgrade means the club now has the facilities and infrastructure to support big race meetings and community events for many years to come — and something members can be proud of! 🏆

The has been racing in Kalgoorlie since 1962, and it’s fantastic to see this much-loved local club continuing to grow and attract competitors and families from across WA and beyond. 🌟🏁

A huge congratulations to the club, its members and volunteers — and enjoy the new kitchen! 🎉👏

A real highlight was seeing Keegan Murphy back behind the wheel and racing again. His determination and courage to return to the sport he loves has been incredible, and everyone at EGKC was proud to share such a special day with him. Welcome back, Keegan—you’ve shown true fighting spirit! ❤️🏁
