🏑 2026 BWHA SUMMER HOCKEY

BWHA is pleased to announce that registrations are open from 5PM tonight for the 2026 Summer Hockey program at State Hockey Centre.

We will be running two 8-week competitions:
• Masters 35+ – Monday nights, 12 October – 30 November
• Seniors 13+ – Thursday nights, 15 October – 3 December

✔️ Team Cost: $1,440.00
✔️ Full-field hockey
✔️ Full-field goalkeepers required
✔️ Minimum 8 players to start
✔️ Normal hockey rules apply
✔️ Minimum 4 teams required for each competition

Registrations open at 5:00pm Thursday 24th October 2026.
Registrations close 5:00pm Monday 5 October.

🏑 International hockey is coming to Redcliffe! 🏑

The Oceania Junior World Cup Qualifier is heading to the City of Moreton Bay, with the men's and women's junior teams from Australia 🇦🇺 and New Zealand 🇳🇿 battling it out for a spot at the Junior World Cup.

We're thrilled to see Redcliffe Hockey Club hosting this huge event, so come down and cheer on the next generation of hockey stars!

Sunday 4 October

⏰ Games at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm each day

🏑 Under 16 State Championships 2026 🏑

A huge congratulations to all our Brisbane teams on an incredible effort throughout the tournament.

A very special thank you to our wonderful volunteers, coaches, managers, umpires and technical officials for a great tournament. ❤️💛💙

Brisbane Results:
🥉 Brisbane 1 — Tied 3rd in Division 1
👏 Brisbane 2 — 7th in Division 1
👏 Brisbane 3 — 4th in Division 2
👏 Brisbane 4 — 6th in Division 2
🏆 Brisbane 5 — 1st in Division 3

A huge congratulations to Bridie Swain, who was appointed as an umpire for the Division 1 Final, and Susan Arthur, who was appointed as an umpire for the Division 2 Final.

Bridie was also recognised with the Young Aspiring Umpiring Award. Congratulations, Bridie! 👏🏑

Congratulations to Aliesha Bahr, who was awarded Player of the Division 3 Final. 🌟

We also congratulate Margie Brown, who was appointed as the Technical Official for the Division 1 Final, and Jenny Heron, who was appointed as the Technical Official for the Division 3 Final.
