Racin' Rubbish

So you know how I said the Sh*tleeka starts from the barrel again?

Well, a mystery problem arose & now it doesn't run...

Started running rough, then it began popping fuses. I;ve never seen a fuse pop so quickly.

So we ripped the loom out, again... or should I say the peeps at the workshop did 'cause I was busy cleaning my current daily for it's sale...

Anyway, things have taken quite a turn. Cam found this Haltech cheap... & the rest is self explainatory 😏

We're focusing on seperating the body from the engine so it'll run how it's supposed to.
The bonus is with the right tune, that 3vz will make closer to 200hp N/A & it future proofs the thing for anything I, should I move it on, others can do with it.

Stay tuned, this is gonna be good 👌

So far this is just the "finishing" stage. It's all being tidied up & tested to make sure it's just moving again tbh

Got something big planned but I'm holding off annoucing that for now... it's about 50/50 as to whether or not it all goes to plan at this stage 👌

I found this laying around at the shop yesterday & thought I'd see what it looks like... it actually doesn't look all that bad 🤣

& we finally figured out what the problem is & why the car won't start... The car is missing a big bit of wiring in the dash area & I have no idea where the original went or why it vanished but I'm heading up north to see Josef & grab some spares out of the extra shell I have to complete it

Oh if I didn't mention that too, I have another extra shell thanks to Josef 🤣

Which I also have a mad cheap build plan for... either way it's going to get cut up a bit even if it goes to scrap so why not?

I want this thing running next week. Fingers crossed 😁

Happy (belated) New Year all

Got some good news to start off 2026

Was at the workshop on Friday & we've finally worked out that the car isn't getting a trigger to the starter motor. Cam gave that relay power & it fired right up, for about 4 seconds because it's not getting fuel & probably because the intake is poorly reassembled & there would be air leaks.

So far it hasn't got interior lights etc yet & I wasn't watching the cluster to see if the revc ounter works either... but it's almost running again.

I went to get a video but the jump starter chose that moment to go flat lmao

I'll keep you all updated 👍

Well, it's Christmas time again.

I don't have any news except that we're getting closer to having the v6 running again, & by that I mean the daily has temporarily donated it's relays to the cause. The two of them being together did mean that I could get these photos as a bit of a send off for 2025.

This is the two cars, five years apart.

A lot has changed, with one of them at least.
