One more sleep until the 3rd episode of our INFINITE Leadership Series drops!
Are you ready?
Our third guest, Andrej Maletic, shares an honest perspective on success, resilience, and what it really takes to keep moving forward when things don’t go to plan.
Because success isn’t a straight line.
It’s a messy scribble of risks, setbacks, lessons, and the courage to keep going.
One thing that stood out to me was this:
➡️ You can be authentic as a leader without sharing every emotional rollercoaster with your team. Leadership requires both vulnerability and responsibility.

A few conversations each year really make me stop and rethink how I lead.
This was one of them.
Mary Darke shared powerful insights on leadership, culture, succession, trust, and what organisations need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
As I looked back over our conversation, these were the insights I kept coming back to.

Most people only share the highlight reel.
Andrej Maletic shared something rarer: the full picture. The setbacks, the hard lessons, the moments that actually shaped how he leads today.
No fluff. Just a real conversation about what resilience looks like when it's not being performed for an audience.
Episode drops Monday.

The leadership skills that got us here may not be the ones that take us forward.
Right now, leaders are being asked to do something incredibly difficult.
Move fast, but bring people with you.
Drive performance, but protect culture.
Make decisions, even when the path is not completely clear.
These are not problems to solve.
There are tensions to lead.
In my latest newsletter, I explore the leadership trait that separates thriving executives from those who struggle, including why the best leaders are not the ones with all the answers, but the ones who can hold complexity without letting it break them.

For so long, leadership was associated with having the answers. Having the plan. Knowing exactly where to go.
But the reality is, today’s leaders are navigating a world where the map is being rewritten in real time.
The leaders who will thrive are not the ones who wait for certainty.
They are the ones who can create clarity, build trust, bring different perspectives together, and keep moving forward.
In the most recent INFINITE Leadership Episode, Mary Darke shared this incredible insight, which I think is worth talking about.
✨ How are you creating confidence when the path ahead is unclear?

What does great leadership actually look like when nobody has the map?
That's what I kept coming back to in my conversation with Mary Darke.
Mary is Managing Director at ChapmanCG, and she has spent years working with boards and executive teams across the world. She knows what great leadership looks like up close and she's equally clear on what it doesn't look like.
What struck me most wasn't a framework or a model.
It was this:
The leaders people trust most aren't the ones pretending to have all the answers. They're the ones who are honest about the uncertainty and still show up with clarity, calm, and direction anyway.
A few things from this conversation I haven't been able to shake:
✨ Diversity of thought only works if people actually feel safe enough to speak. A seat at the table means nothing if the culture quietly punishes honesty.
✨ Psychological safety isn't about keeping things comfortable. It's about having enough trust in each other to say the hard thing and know the relationship can hold it.
✨ The leaders who will matter most in the next five years won't be the ones who held the most control. They'll be the ones who know how to bring people through change without losing them.
Mary said something that I keep coming back to: that we're all in the same storm, just navigating it in different boats.
And I think that's it, really.
We're not looking for leaders who have perfect conditions. We're looking for leaders we trust to navigate with us when conditions aren't perfect.
So the question I'll leave you with:
Are you that leader for the people around you right now?

And Mary, thank you. Genuinely. This one stayed with me.

One more sleep until the 2nd episode of our INFINITE Leadership Series drops!
Are you ready?
Our second guest, Mary Darke, takes us inside the boardroom and explores what leaders need to navigate the complexity of today’s world.
Leadership is no longer defined by control.
It is defined by the ability to create coherence in uncertainty, build trust, inspire confidence, and create value in complex environments.
The leaders of the future will not just talk about values.
They will live them.
They will set the standard, embrace change, and bring people together.
