The Kedron-Wavell Cougars Ruby team heads into finals after strong performances in their last two games, finishing the season as Minor Premiers on top of the ladder.
Now it’s semi-final time, with the team back in action today and ready to fight for a place in the Grand Final.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to support our teams on Sunday! ❤️🖤
It was wonderful to have so many families, friends and supporters courtside cheering on our Sapphires.
A special shout-out to our Downey Park Netball Assoc ball girls, who were kept busy on the sidelines and did a fantastic job! 👏

Congratulations on an incredible career Mahalia!
Kedron-Wavell Cougars is incredibly proud to have played a small part in Mahalia Cassidy’s netball journey, which began with us at just 15 years of age.
Mahalia became an integral part of our club and our premiership success before taking the next step in her career with the Queensland Firebirds. It’s been wonderful to watch all that she has achieved since.

Final fixture round done and dusted!
Strong wins for our Sapphire and Ruby teams today, with both finishing on top of their respective ladders and claiming the minor premierships! 🏆
Both teams now turn their attention to semi-finals next Sunday.
It wasn’t the finish our Emerald team was hoping for, going down to Wildcats in their final game of the season.
Our Emeralds finish their 2026 campaign in fifth position. Congratulations to the players, coaches and support team on their season and for representing the Cougars with pride. ❤️🖤

The Cougars Cubs program kicked off with a bang last Sunday! 🐾❤️
There was plenty of enthusiasm, energy and some great netball skills on show from our young Cubs as they hit the court for their first session.
We loved seeing everyone getting involved and having fun, and we’re looking forward to doing it all again for Week 2 tomorrow morning! ❤️🖤
