Just over a week to our AGM.

I encourage any considering applying for the committee to do so. It's a thankless but very rewarding role. Help grow the club , especially as we begin phase two of our masterplan. We will never say no to help!

Last night QSDCA held their AGM at Allan Border Field.

A couple of key points for our members

- full spikes mandatory for all batters now. (Spikes front and back, no half spikes)

- neck guards on helmets strongly recommended but not compulsory, expect that to change next season. Most helmets manufactured after 2014 can be retrofitted to avoid $200+ cost of new helmets.

- most grades will migrate to using a 4 piece Kookaburra ball. C grade or part of may use remaining stock of 2 piece balls. Cost is only slightly higher for a much better ball.

- Friday night T20 comp at Gibson Park

- small increase in fees,$5 in most cases.

Finally a very big congratulations to Keane White who was given the enormous honour of being made a life member of QSDCA. Many will know as well as our club Treasurer and life menber, Keane has been QSDCA Treasurer for many years and is very well deserved.
