Bub and Me Aqua Active is a 30-minute water fitness class for you, designed especially for parents and carers — with your little one right there alongside you in the water.
It’s your time to move, strengthen, and feel good, while sharing beautiful water moments together.

• Wednesday – 11:00am

Welcome to Sueallen, who is now an officially certified Bub and Me Aqua Active Instructor! 💙
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Sueallen to our growing instructor community. Families throughout the Lockyer Valley are going to love her passion, care and dedication.

Here is Sueallen's story......

"Hi everyone! I'm Sueallen, and I'm so excited to officially become a certified Bub and Me Aqua Active Instructor.
I teach at the Lockyer Valley Sports & Aquatic Centre as a swim teacher, squad coach, lifeguard, customer service officer, aqua aerobics instructor and Boccia facilitator. I also run my own inclusive aqua fitness business, Aqua Fit Warriors, supporting people of all ages and abilities with water fitness, mobility, confidence and therapy goals.

What I love most is helping people build confidence, celebrate milestones and develop the skills to be safe in and around the water. Watching someone achieve something they never thought possible is why I love teaching.

Living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease), and raising a son with the same condition, has shown me how important inclusion, encouragement and adapting activities for every individual really are.

I've lived in the Lockyer Valley for 14 years and love helping local families enjoy the water safely.

Favourite food: Thai green curry.
Favourite colour: Orange.

Outside the pool I love organising community events, coordinating fundraisers, reading a great book, coaching Boccia and spending Sundays adventuring with my boys.

I'm incredibly grateful to Amanda and the Bub and Me Aqua Active team for their support. I can't wait to welcome families into my Bub and Me classes and help them build confidence, create special memories and develop a lifelong love of the water."

Looking for a water workout that’s effective, welcoming, and easy on the body?

Our Aqua Aerobics classes are held in a warm indoor pool and are designed for all fitness levels, with options to suit beginners through to regular movers.
