Our usual Thursday beach swim had a few extra special humans joining us this morning — international family members getting to share our little piece of salty goodness with us! 🌊💙
There’s something pretty incredible about bringing family and generations together at the beach — especially when loved ones have travelled from across the world to be there!

Cousin......
Children......
Auntie's/ Zia....
Friends.....
Family from near and far. 🌏💙

Different ages, different abilities, different levels of water confidence — but everyone sharing the same sand, sunshine, salty air, laughter and experience......
And THAT is what accessibility and inclusion should look like.

It’s not always about doing exactly the same thing.
It’s about making sure everyone has the opportunity to be there, be included and be part of the moment!

Whether you're swimming, splashing, helping with the beach chair, carrying a board, cheering from the sand or simply enjoying being together…
You belong.

These are the moments that become memories.
And how special to be able to share our love of the beach and water with family visiting from overseas — showing them exactly why our Thursday beach days mean so much to us. 💙

Connection through water.
Connection through family.
Connection across generations — and across the world. 🌏🌊
And plenty of laughs along the way! 😂
Because sometimes the greatest thing we can give each other isn't a big adventure…
It's simply the opportunity to experience something together.

💛🌼 DAFFODIL DAY DIPPING… OCEAN STYLE! 🌼💛

Well… I think this might be one of my BEST cold dips for August yet! 😂💦🐋
On Thursday I had the incredible opportunity to swim with the whales off the Gold Coast with the crew from Cooley Eco Adventures — so of course, the Daffodil Day dipping challenge came with me! 💛

Yellow on ✔️
Middle of the ocean ✔️
Cold water ✔️
Whale friends nearby ✔️🐋
DIP DONE! ✔️💦

Throughout August, we're keeping active, being brave, having some fun and taking our cold dips to help raise funds towards creating a cancer-free future. 🌼

Your dip doesn't have to look like this one! 😂 Whether it's at the pool, beach or somewhere else — just get moving, get dipping and join our Carole Park Ice Maidens.
