VALE | JIM O'GRADY

The Oceania Squash community is deeply saddened by the passing of Jim O'Grady.

Jim played a significant role throughout the region, serving on the Oceania Squash Federation as Vice President from 2012–2015, before leading the organisation as President from 2016–2023.

He also made a significant contribution to the sport in his home country, serving as Chair of Squash New Zealand from 2007–2009 and as Chief Executive from 2009–2018.

Jim was deeply passionate about squash in the region, and in particular the growth and development of the smaller Oceania nations.

He has left an indelible legacy on squash in Oceania, and will be greatly missed.

The Oceania Squash Federation extends its deepest condolences to Jim's family, friends, and all those whose lives he impacted.
