⚡THUNDER FAMILY — THE NEXT GEN 12s PROGRAM IS HERE! ⚡

Basketball Queensland's Next Gen 12s Program for 2026 is officially open for registration, and we want to see players out there representing Logan!

This is the first step on the pathway to representing Queensland — a chance for our up and coming athletes to train, connect and grow alongside the best young talent from across the state.

Camp dated Sunday 29 November is being held at Logan Metro Sports and Event Centre, so our local athletes get a chance to shine.

This program is open to all athletes competing in BQJBC representative competitions in 2026 — so if that's your Thunder athlete, don't miss out.

Camps run through until December, across Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Logan.

🏀 ONE MONTH INTO COACHES CLUB 🏀

We're a month into the Logan Basketball Coaches Club, and the response from our coaches has been awesome to see.

Our first focus block has been all about Ball Handling, Pivoting & Finishing — building the fundamentals that everything else gets built on. Every 4 weeks we shift focus to a new area, so there's always something fresh.

Beyond the weekly content, our coaches have been having some fantastic informal conversations and idea-sharing along the way — building a real sense of community among our coaching group.

All Coaches Club members get access to workshops and clinics too, with our first one coming up soon — and we can't wait to share more details shortly.

⚡ U12 SQJBC — Round 13-14 Recap ⚡

A solid round for our Thunder U12 teams, with strong wins across both the boys and girls squads and some hard fought contests against Gold Coast.

Well done to everyone who took to the court — the effort and improvement continue to show!

💪 U14 Nationals Fundraiser ⚡

Support our Under 14 Logan Thunder Boys team who are on their way to Perth in September to play the best in the country.

They're running a barbecue to help them get over the line, and they would deeply appreciate anyone who can show support this Saturday at fixtures.
