Fresh off Commonwealth 4x100m gold, 20.21s 200m sprinter Calab Law is making the switch to the 110m hurdles ahead of LA 2028.

Law was a hurdler until the age of about 17. He gave it up because he was going through an “awkward growth phase as a late bloomer” and couldn’t get his stride pattern right.

World junior track and field starts Wednesday 5 August in Eugene. We have two amazing young ladies competing, Libby Mantay (5000m) and Amaya Mearns (200m and 4 x 100 relay). First up is Libby at 12.53pm Brisbane time on Thursday 6 August.
