Remember when Mum would say, "Take your sister with you!"? 😂 Meet our very own sister squads – the Mitchell sisters and the Heindorff sisters!
With support from our Exercise Physiologists at our Chermside clinic, they're building strength and keeping each other motivated.
And let's be honest... a little friendly sibling rivalry is sometimes exactly the motivation you need! 😉
Who says getting active has to be a solo mission? Tag your sibling, friend or favourite gym buddy and let them know it's time to get moving together! 👇

Rick has been hiding a marathon-sized secret… 🏃♂️
While the rest of us were enjoying the weekend, Rick, our Acting Head of Allied Health, was casually out there running 42km at the Gold Coast Marathon… and somehow kept it quiet!
No big announcement. No countdown. No “wish me luck” posts. Just Rick casually strolling into work on Monday with a medal around his neck like it was no big deal. 😆
We’re calling it what it is: a very impressive humble brag!
Huge congratulations, Rick - you’ve officially earned the right to show off that medal (at least for a few more weeks 😉).
What an amazing achievement! 👏🏅

We need to rethink what “being strong” really means…
Is it just exercise and fitness - or is there more to it?
For Men’s Health Week, Exercise Physiologist Jin explores how mental wellbeing, connection and movement all work together to support stronger, healthier ageing.

Today’s exercise session fueled by funky socks, friendship and fun times. Exercise is important but so is out funking each others socks 🤪

"What keeps you healthy and well?" - For Men's Health Week, we asked our male gym members...
Sure, exercise and healthy eating got a mention.
But so did coffee with mates, having somewhere to be, keeping busy, getting out of the house, having a laugh and staying connected.
Turns out healthy ageing is all about balance. 💙
And that’s why we love our community - it’s not just the workout.
It’s the friendships, the chats before and after sessions, the social activities and the people who make life more enjoyable.
Because good health is more than staying active - it’s staying connected too.

What can real-life diabetes management look like? Di shows us!
Moving her body in a supported exercise session, checking in on her blood glucose levels, having a chat and getting guidance from our Exercise Physiologists like Trinity. 🙌🏼
In our Dealing with Diabetes program, Di joins supervised exercise sessions designed to help her build strength, confidence and consistency - all while keeping an eye on her health in a safe and supported way.
Our program supports people living with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes through exercise, education and encouragement in a friendly, social environment.
💙 Diabetes Awareness Week is a reminder that diabetes doesn’t clock off… but you definitely don’t have to manage it alone either.

We haven't officially measured, but we're pretty sure Alan grew about 20cm this week - Lauren, Senior Exercise Physiologist 😁
The reason? His new forearm walker finally arrived after he was struggling with a standard walker. The smile on his face was like Christmas morning!
A reminder that sometimes the right piece of equipment can make a huge difference.
