Line Dancing Social- H***y Tonk Hardwood x Footloose Fun Photo collection by Still Love Photography

🎉🤠Very excited to announce that Footloose Fun has been asked to be a participating club in this year's Ekka Hoedown!

This event started in 2018, and seems to have got bigger and better every year.

I'm looking for people keen to be a part of the Footloose Fun team for the Ekka Cup Challenge... have a read of all the info, and if this sounds up your alley, get in touch :)

Tomorrow is the day! A few reminders about the Cool Days and Hot Steps Social:

🤠 Venue: Pine Rivers Showgrounds Hall, 757 Gympie Road, Lawnton. Enter via the main gate on Gympie Road, the hall is the large building on your left. There is ample parking available onsite, otherwise Lawnton train station is only a 5-minute walk.

🤠 Make sure you buy your ticket online beforehand; no tickets will be sold at the door.

🤠 Doors open 1:30pm, dancing starts at 2pm.

🤠 No dress-up theme.

🤠 Grazing platter will be provided. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks (no glass though).

🤠 A photo booth will be set up on the day, free to use, thanks to Jules from Still Love Photography (and from Nat’s class, what a multi-talented soul). Jules will upload a link to the professional album afterwards, with all pics downloadable.

🤠 This is a social catering to all levels – all are welcome. Walkthroughs of beginner dances in sets 1, 2, and 3. No walkthroughs of any dances in Set 4.

Set 4 – aka request hour – for Sunday’s social is here.

🤠 Sets 1-3 each begin with beginner dances and get trickier throughout each set. In Set 4, the difficulty level is all over the place, as indicated below.
🤠 No walkthroughs of any dances in Set 4. This is so we can get through as many requests as possible.
🤠 The BootStepper playlist has now been updated to include the dances in Set 4.
🤠 Thanks to everyone who submitted requests… it made our job very difficult, but we hope you like the list. If you don’t, please send us a written letter of complaint, we will get back to you in 5 business days (which will be after the social, so perhaps no point…)

🚜👢My worlds of agriculture and line dancing will be colliding at Bunnings Virginia next Saturday 4th July. Thank you to Sandie and the Bunnings Virginia team for asking me to be involved in this event for such a worthy cause.

Line dancing will be held in the undercover carpark from 9-11am, beginner level lesson. We may also do a few demos of trickier dances throughout that timeframe, depending on who shows up 🤠
