You might have seen this guy dropping off a coffee on a Saturday when I’m teaching, or running our ‘front of house’ at our end-of-year Concert.

Yes, it’s Mr Balance — aka Alex! ✨
For those who didn’t know, Alex was also a professional ballet dancer. His career spanned an incredible 18 years, dancing with:

Special mention to super star mum Susan Moore who had not one but four dancers to get ready for our Royal Academy of Dance Australia Grade Exams! 🥰🩰 ✨

Yesterday we hosted our 12th Royal Academy of Dance Australia Grade Exams! ✨

Every student came out of their exam with a smile, and Miss Skyla and I couldn’t be prouder of all the hard work, dedication and commitment you’ve shown. 💕

What made the day even more special was having Miss Frankie, Tiana and Miss Maddalena—three former Balance students—back to help our dancers get ready before heading into their exams. It was so lovely to see you supporting the next generation of Balance dancers.

Thank you, Frangelica, Tiana and Maddalena, for giving your time and encouragement. We know our students loved having you there! 💖

This morning we were lucky to have a very good friend of mine, former professional ballerina and current dance teacher Clare lend her expertise to help guide one of our young dancers who has beautifully high arches.
