Venue Change: Due to an event being held at Stuartholme School, we are back to All Hallows School for our WPQ Coach Academy Launch!

Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers Head Coach Bec Rippon and USA Women's Head Coach Adam Krikorian can't wait to share their knowledge and insight into coaching at an elite level.

We will see you all at All Hallows School for an 11:30am start, as we officially launch our WPQ Coach Academy 🎉

The Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers vs USA Women's open training game is still being held at the Stuartholme Pool from 8:30am to 10:30am, for those who still wish to attend.

All spectators of the open training session must vacate Stuartholme at the conclusion of the training.

Good news - nominations for the Water Polo Queensland Annual Awards Dinner are now open until Sunday night.

There's still time to recognise the athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers and clubs who have made a difference this season.

Water Polo Queensland celebrated an outstanding week at the East Coast Challenge, highlighted by a dominant double-gold performance from our Maroon teams, with both the Boys and Girls teams crowned champions.

The strength and depth of Queensland’s development pathway were evident across the entire six-team contingent. In the boys' competition, Gold finished 8th overall, while Navy secured 12th place. Our girls' squads also demonstrated tremendous resilience and growth against strong interstate opposition, with Gold finishing 7th and Navy claiming a 9th-place result.

WPQ extends its sincere gratitude to Water Polo Victoria for hosting a fantastic tournament, as well as to our 12 dedicated coaches, travelling families, and referees Paul Coolican, Nick Mattiske, and Georgia Green for their invaluable contributions throughout the week.

Congratulations to all athletes, coaches, officials, and supporters on an exceptional tournament.
