Exciting news for local pickleball enthusiasts.

In conjunction with Tennis Queensland and Horizon Tennis (the operator of the Moggill District Sports Park courts), Council is supporting the creation of eight pickleball courts at the Centre.

This will be done by converting two existing tennis courts into dual-purpose courts by adding permanent pickleball lines. Importantly, this will allow flexible use for both sports without any loss of tennis capacity.

When we have more details about when it will launch, I’ll let the community know.

I commend Tennis Queensland for recognising the emergence of pickleball as a popular court activity by supporting this request.
