Yesterday we finally got to hold our rescheduled Junior Red Hot Shots Tournament, and what a fantastic little event it was! 🌟

We were so impressed with the sportsmanship and work ethic shown by all of our young players. It was wonderful to see them working so well together, keeping score confidently and doing a great job calling the balls in or out. 🎾👏

There were plenty of great rallies, lots of effort and, most importantly, fantastic attitudes on court.

A huge congratulations to everyone who played! You should all be very proud of yourselves. ❤️🎾

Despite the weather not quite being on our side for our red tournament, we had a fantastic morning of tennis at our Samford State School Tournament over the weekend! A huge congratulations to all of the students who competed with great sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

Unfortunately, since our Red Ball Tournament was rained out. ☔ We'll be looking to reschedule it, so keep an eye on our page and newsletters for the new date!

Come along for a fun morning of tennis, match play and plenty of encouragement from our coaches. Whether you're new to competition or already love playing matches, this tournament is the perfect opportunity to put your skills into practice! 🏆🎾

✨ Coaches will be on court to help with scoring, so minimal match play experience is absolutely fine!

🎉 Congratulations to Sienna Jensen on achieving her Tennis Australia Club Pro Level 2 qualification! 🎾

A huge congratulations to Sienna Jensen on officially receiving her Tennis Australia Club Pro Level 2 certificate! Sienna completed the qualification earlier this year at just 21 years of age, and it was great to have Sam Bradshaw from Tennis Australia visit us this morning to complete the final sign-off. A big thank you to Sam for your time and support throughout the process.

This achievement places Sienna alongside Jesse and Jessica Catterall as one of Southern Cross Tennis’s Club Professional Level 2 qualified coaches, continuing our long tradition of developing top-quality coaches.

We’re especially proud of the amazing women in our coaching team. Female coaches play such an important role in our sport, and at Southern Cross Tennis we’ve always been passionate about developing young women through our own programs and supporting them into coaching pathways.

Sienna’s journey is a great example of that pathway. After competing as a high-level player, she found her passion in coaching and loves helping players improve while making every lesson fun and enjoyable.

Alongside her coaching, Sienna is also balancing her studies and work as a Pilates instructor, and we’re proud to support her as she continues to grow both on and off the court.

Congratulations again, Sienna! We’re excited to see what the future holds.

A huge congratulations to Matt on winning the **2026 $20K Elite Tennis International Open Championships – Men's Singles Tier 2** title!

Matt claimed the championship with a **7–6, 2–0** victory before his opponent was unfortunately forced to retire.

What a fantastic achievement and a testament to all of your hard work and dedication. We are incredibly proud of your success and can't wait to see what comes next.
