The true challenge of restorative yoga isn't physical flexibility—it's mental stillness. Letting yourself do absolutely nothing can feel surprisingly difficult at first, but that is exactly where the healing happens.

Experience a deep physical release with Restorative Yoga*
In restorative yoga, because the body is fully supported by props, the muscles can release tension without the effort required in active stretching.
Some key benefits include:
Fascial Release:
Long holds allow the connective tissue (fascia) to soften and hydrate.
Spinal Health:
Gentle, supported backbends and twists help maintain vertebral flexibility.
Reduced Physical Fatigue:
It provides a way to recover from high-intensity exercise or physical labor without further taxing the joints.
*Restorative Pass - buy 4 and receive a 5th class for free with the $100 Rest Pass.

Have you ever tried Bee Meditation?
Inhale Deeply: Take a long, slow breath in through your nose.
Hum on the Exhale: Keeping your lips closed, exhale slowly while making a deep, steady humming sound (like a buzzing bee). Focus completely on the vibration in your throat and head.
Repeat: Lower your hands to your knees and take a few natural breaths.
Repeat this cycle 5 to 6 times to experience full relaxation.
The humming creates sonic vibrations that stimulate the vagus nerve, which tells your brain to switch from "fight or flight" to the "rest and digest" parasympathetic state, cultivating a calm state for your entire nervous system.

Grounding and warming yoga is what we all need right now. Solid poses that anchor us through the feet, creating stability and integrity in the way we hold ourselves.
Building a practice that keeps you grounded also brings a sense of calm. Feeling your feet firmly on the ground gives you that absolute sense of your connection to the earth.
Through a series of poses that will root you through the soles of your feet you will not only have the confidence to keep yourself together, especially in times of overwhelm and anxiety, but you will also build the courage to continue to keep moving forward whatever challenges life throws your way
Join me for some deeply grounding yoga that will guarantee to warm you from the inside out.
