The next chapter of the journey starts here! We’re excited to welcome Chanelle Maxwell to the Study & Play USA family as a 2029 golf recruit.

Currently attending Como Secondary College, Chanelle is already playing some impressive golf and holds a 3 handicap ⛳️

Earlier this year, Chanelle made her mark by becoming the youngest player to win the Club Championship at Royal Perth Golf Club! An outstanding achievement and a great reflection of her ability to compete.

Now, the focus is on continuing to build on that success, gaining more tournament experience and developing her game as she works towards the next stage of her golfing journey.

We’re thrilled to have you on board, Chanelle, and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

📢 Freshman Advice 📢

"I would say to immerse yourself in every opportunity that comes your way during your first week. Be open to meeting as many people as possible and putting yourself out there. Some of my best friends were people I met during those first few days of orientation week simply by attending different events and saying yes to new experiences.

I would also recommend walking around campus before your first day of classes so you know how to get from your dorm or athletic department to your classrooms. Knowing where you’re going ahead of time can make those first-day nerves and jitters feel much more manageable.

For athletics, early is on time, and on time is late. Always arrive at least 10 minutes early to every training session, meeting, or team commitment. Use that extra time to get prepared, organised, and mentally ready so that when the start time arrives, you are already where you need to be and ready to go."
