How old is your helmet?

A bike helmet can look perfectly fine on the outside while the materials inside are slowly aging. UV exposure, heat, sweat, and everyday use can reduce the foam and shell’s ability to absorb impact over time.

At NRG Cycles, we recommend checking your helmet regularly and considering replacement every few years, especially if it has seen a lot of riding or been stored in hot conditions.¬

Replace your helmet immediately if:
° It has been involved in a crash
°You notice cracks or damage
°The straps or retention system are worn
°It no longer fits properly
