Established in 2025, our Legends Women have officially secured top spot in just their second season — sitting nine points clear with one game remaining and an incredible +94 goal difference! 🤯

In their first year under coach Gavin Scott, this brilliant mix of returning Wolves and new faces has delivered a season to remember.

But the job isn’t finished yet…

Their first semi-final is at home next week, and they need the Pack behind them!

Beyond the player accolades, two very special awards were presented at our 2026 Awards Night and 105th Anniversary celebrations — recognising two people whose contribution to Wynnum Wolves goes far beyond the pitch.

20 consecutive years of service. 19 years on the Wolves committee. Life Member. Coach. Volunteer. A constant presence through every chapter of our club.

🏆 TERRY & TONY FURPHY CLUB MEMBER OF THE YEAR — GRANT McCOY

As our MiniRoos Coordinator, Grant oversees around 500 young players across 50 MiniRoos and Pathways teams — all as a volunteer. Add committee member, coach, organiser and resident Mr Fix-it to the list, and it’s easy to see just how much he gives to our Pack.

Community clubs are built on people who give their time, energy and heart — and we’re incredibly lucky to have Phil and Grant as part of ours.

Over 180 members of our Pack came together at Sirromet to celebrate 105 years of Wynnum Wolves and our 2026 season.

We were honoured to welcome Wolves junior and Matildas legend Clare Polkinghorne OAM, who presented the inaugural Clare Polkinghorne Medal to Charlotte Reid.

Khelistar Murray became our first Gaye Eames Medal winner, while Masa Yokoyama took home both the Wayne Gracey Medal and Clarrie Shenton Medal. 🏆

And a huge congratulations to our 2026 Rookies of the Year — Dominique Hepplewhite and Harry Orford. 🌟

A special night celebrating our past, present and future.
