We stock a selection of exercise, mobility and support equipment that may be recommended by your practitioner as part of your individual management plan.

Not sure what’s appropriate for you? Have a chat with the AAM team or your practitioner before choosing a product.

Less searching online for “that stretchy band thing my osteo showed me”.

And yes, some of them are considerably more fun-looking than others. 😄

Frozen shoulder recovery isn’t about pushing through pain. It’s about progressing at the right pace ➡️💪

Frozen shoulder typically progresses through three phases:

❄️Freezing
❄️Frozen
❄️Thawing

As movement gradually begins to return, carefully selected exercises may help improve strength, control and confidence.

In this case, a light resistance band is being used as part of a tailored rehabilitation programme while the shoulder regains mobility. The aim isn’t to force movement, but to gradually reintroduce it in a way that’s appropriate for the individual’s stage of recovery.

Every frozen shoulder progresses differently, so rehabilitation should be matched to your presentation and goals.

If shoulder stiffness or pain is limiting your day-to-day activities, our osteopaths can assess your
movement and discuss management options that may be appropriate for you.

How does your body move when you’re not thinking about it?

Try these five simple movements:

✔ Look over both shoulders
✔ Reach your arms overhead
✔ Stand up from a chair without using your hands
✔ Balance on one leg
✔ Sit comfortably on the floor (if appropriate for you)

There’s no perfect score, but noticing changes in how you move can be a useful reminder to pay attention to your body.

If something doesn’t feel as comfortable or as easy as it once did, an assessment may help identify what’s contributing to those changes.

🚨 We’d like to introduce our newest (and definitely cutest) member of the All About Movement team...Mac! 🐶💙

His current responsibilities include:
🐾 Greeting visitors
🐾 Supervising the waiting room
🐾 Accepting unlimited belly rubs
🐾 Falling asleep in random places
🐾 Boosting everyone’s mood

Don’t worry...we’re still working on his appointment scheduling and paperwork skills. 😅

If you happen to visit on one of Mac’s clinic days, there’s a good chance you’ll be greeted by a wagging tail before you even reach reception.

Have you met Mac yet? Tell us your favourite puppy photo below! 👇

Men’s Health Week is a reminder that looking after your health doesn’t have to start with a major life overhaul.

For many men, it’s the small things that get pushed aside first – that persistent stiff neck, recurring back pain, shoulder discomfort, lack of movement, or feeling like your body just isn’t working as well as it used to.

The good news? Small changes can make a big difference.

Regular movement, staying active, connecting with mates, and seeking professional advice when something doesn’t feel right are all positive steps towards better health and wellbeing.

At All About Movement, we encourage people to stay active, move well, and address concerns early so they can keep doing the things they enjoy.

This Men’s Health Week, take a moment to check in with yourself, your health, and the people around you.
