Super Sunday🔥🏁

With a smaller gathering at the track today, the nitro boys ripped in for a test and tune instead.

The weather was picture perfect and soon the sweet sound of screaming two strokes filled the air. 🎵👂🏎️

And with the IC Nationals coming up in October in Sydney, it was a good opportunity to starting testing different combinations and settings before gearing up for the big one at New South Wales Radio Controlled Racing Car Club Inc.

🏁Following our announcement last week that both GT classes will be joining 1/8 On-Road and 200mm Pro Tourer at the 2027 FEMCA ( Far East Model Car Association ) Asia Nitro Championships, England Park Raceway is thrilled to confirm that, if numbers allow, a 'Masters Final' will be held on Saturday, March 13 for the top 10 Age 45+ qualifiers in 1/8 On-Road🙌

We can't wait to see some of our veterans and racing legends from across the Asia-Pacific battle it out in what is sure to be a hotly contested 45 minute final.🔥🏎

🏆🗓The FEMCA Asian Nitro Championship will be held from March 9 - 13, 2027.

🙌It was a bumper turnout for EP racing at England Park today, with a few of the boys and girls from Bayside Radio Control Car Club swelling the local ranks as they gear up for the Nationals in October.

The big numbers meant we had two groups of 13.5 ISTC and two of 21.5 ISTC joining Trucks to battle it out over a long track format. 🏎🔋

🏁Fresh off a successful FEMCA ( Far East Model Car Association ) GT8 Nitro and GT8E Asian Championships this year, we are excited to announce that both GT classes will now join 200mm Pro Tourer and 1/8 On-Road in the 2027 FEMCA Asia Nitro Championship at England Park Raceway.

👀You read that right. Four classes. Four chances at taking the ultimate racing glory!

Fantastic FEMCA!🙌🏎

What a weekend of incredible racing action at England Park Raceway!

Drivers put pedal to the metal on the racetrack in the inaugural FEMCA ( Far East Model Car Association ) GT8 Nitro and GT8E Asian Championships, while there were some equally exciting battles in the 200mm Pro Tourer, 1/8 Open and 1/8 Masters classes as part of RCRA SpeedyRC Online Store QLD IC State Titles.

Despite both days being rain affected, Race Control and our hardworking volunteers in scrutineering, pit lane and elsewhere around the track did a great job to keep things moving.

As always, Mitch on the Mic was outstanding with his expert commentary across both the Asian Championships and Qld IC State Titles, while racing legend Steven Burgess and local RC identity Jared Moore were superb on the live stream commentary and interviews across the weekend. Thanks fellas!

A special shout-out to QRCCRA President Daniel Morris who put an enormous amount of of time and energy into ensuring the inaugural FEMCA GT Asian Championships were a success despite being given only a few months short notice.

A big thank you must also go to all our club members who gave up their time to help ensure the event ran smoothly. Whether you were in race control, scrutineering, marshalling or running our excellent live stream, your efforts were greatly appreciated by QRCCRA.
