Congratulations to our 2026 Champions, Jonty Lunson & Grace Rho.

Both matches were absolute thrillers with Rho (Royal Queensland) holding her nerve down the stretch to win the 18th in a back and forth match against the top seed, Rachel Lee.

The mens final had everything, Harrison Gomez held a lead early only for Lunson to chase it down on the 17th hole. It was celebration for Lunson who won on the 21st hole.

Barclay held his nerve coming down the stretch to finish 1 shot winner ahead of a fast finishing Fraser Anderson & Kade Bryant. In the women's field, Lee proved far too good, dominating from start to finish to finish as a runaway winner.

Round 2 of the 2026 has finished with Rachel Lee continuing out in front of the women's field after a blistering round of 68 (-4) today.

In the men's field, George Barclay has grabbed the lead with one round to go tomorrow after an excellent 67 (-5) to lead by two shots. Elsewhere, Beerwah Golf Club local Jensen Williamson rocketed up the leaderboard with the round of the day 66 (-6).

Round 2 of the 2026 is back underway in blue skies and sunshine conditions at Beerwah Golf Club. Plenty of smiles considering the rain yesterday and some "local spectators" keeping an eye on the field.
