BMTA QLD State Cup Trial Information 📋🏉

BMTA are excited to be holding our 2026 Senior Mustangs Trials for QLD State Cup on Saturday September 5. A reminder that those interested must complete our Expression of Interest Form to be able to trial.

Attending trials is highly encouraged due to the competitive nature of our program and selections. The divisions which have been allocated a trial time and field reflect the teams we are currently aiming to fill. Trials will only proceed if final EOI numbers are sufficient to form a team. As further EOIs are received, additional divisions may be considered for trials, so we encourage you to spread the word to teammates and friends to submit their EOI.

‼SEPTEMBER HOLIDAY CAMP REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN‼

BMTA’s Touch Football Holiday Camp is back these September school holidays! 🏃
Open to children aged 5–12, the camp will run from September 22 – 25, 9:00am to 3:00pm each day, with a variety of fun games, activities, and skill-based drills planned daily.

✔️ Morning tea & lunch provided
🏈Each child receives a free BMTA Touch Footy

It’s set to be a fun-filled few days where kids can stay active, make new friends, and develop their touch football skills!

🩷 Small Steps 4 Hannah 2026 Charity Match Wrap-Up 🩷

Last Wednesday, BMTA hosted our Patron’s VI v Chairman’s VI Charity Match in support of the incredible Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation.

BMTA was proud to team up with our Patron and Local Member for Greenslopes, Mr Joe Kelly MP, to continue this important campaign and bring our local community together for such a meaningful cause.

The match was a huge success, with so many familiar faces and key members of our local community lacing up the boots and getting involved. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, as well as the many supporters who came down to watch, cheer on the teams and help make the night such a success.

A special thank you to our Chairman, Corey Nolan, and Mr Joe Kelly MP for leading their respective teams and helping bring this concept to life. BMTA is incredibly proud of our long-standing relationship with Joe as our Patron and Local Member, and we look forward to continuing to work together on initiatives that make a positive impact in our community.

This is a new fundraising record for BMTA, and we couldn’t be prouder of what our community achieved together. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and contributed to reaching this incredible total.

The Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation works to HALT the cycle of domestic violence, helping create a future where everyone feels safe, respected, informed, and confident to act.

BMTA is excited to announce our 2026 QSC Coaching Staff, who will lead our Senior Mustangs teams through the program this year as we prepare for the QLD State Cup, held from November 27–29 at Sunshine Coast Stadium and the Kawana Sports Precinct.

Congratulations to all of our coaches on your appointments! We’re looking forward to an exciting campaign and can’t wait to see what this group can achieve together. 🐴
