Wednesday Night Int-Adv Wrap | Wellington Point

A big night on the courts with 37 players across 9 rounds and 72 games. Thanks to everyone who came along.

Liam Dobson was untouchable, finishing 7-0 for a perfect night and top spot on 21 points.

Jacob Hunter and Sue Thompson were right behind on 19 points each (6-1-1). Jacob also had the best for/against ratio of the night at 111 to 47.

On points differential, Andy Tompkins topped the table at +71, scoring a session-high 124 points. Jacob (+64), Liam (+56), Sue (+55) and Michael Hunter (+54) rounded out the top five.

Solid nights also for Michael Hunter, Brad Crosby, Dean Holmes and Brian Krisanski, all on 18 points.

Closest match of the night finished dead level at 7-7: Jacob Hunter & Sue Thompson vs Chris Gulliver & Wendy Tompkins.

See you all next Wednesday!

And a very happy birthday to Andy Tompkins! Top of the points differential on your birthday is a pretty good way to celebrate. Have a great one, Andy!

What a night... some very trying and VERY VERY windy conditions (hit the ball as hard as you can one end and simply tap it from the other...). But as always, lots of laughs and awesome pickleball. The wind kept a few players away so we ended up with 14 players completing 9 rounds and 27 games.

Well done to Brian Krisanski for finishing as the top player with 8 wins from 9 games. Standout pairings for the night included Brian Krisanski and Wesley Ferreira, Brendan Key and Brie-Ann Liddle, and Brian Krisanski and Joshua Bayldon, who all went undefeated in their combined matches. It was a good night of competitive play for everyone involved.
