Another successful day for the club, this time in the pool, at the Brisbane Northside meet.

We had a very successful night selling raffle tickets at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, we greatly appreciate the support. And thank you Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club for donating the vouchers.

Come on down to the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club on Friday 28 August, from 5pm for dinner and purchase some tickets in the meat raffle.

They have kindly donated 8 x $40 meat trays for us to raffle to assist with our fundraising efforts.

Tickets will be sold from 5pm and will be drawn at 7:30pm.

We’re incredibly grateful to be a recipient of Redland City Council Mayor and Councillor's Community Benefit, which enabled us to purchase a first aid kit.

We’ll have this kit with us at all our open water training sessions, helping us keep our members safe while they build confidence and skills in the bay.

We’re grateful for the ongoing support from the council and Cr Peter Mitchell, as we proudly continue growing safe, enjoyable swimming opportunities for adults across the Redlands.

Better late than never…Bob and Damon have received their record certificates from the MSA National Championships.
🏆Bob:QLD record for 25m breaststroke and 100m freestyle.
🏆Damon: QLD record for 400m freestyle and multi class records for 25m butterfly and 50m butterfly.
Congratulations Bob and Damon!!!

Today we ran a fantastic diving masterclass with Ollie Collins at Chandler. We can’t dive at our regular training pool, so opportunities like this are incredibly valuable for our swimmers.
A huge thanks to Ollie for joining us — we really appreciate your time and expertise, and hope we can run more workshops soon.

Entries are now open for the Brisbane Northside Masters Meet, being held at the iconic Valley Pool on Saturday 29 August 2026.

This short course swim meet is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of racing, chase a PB, test your form, or simply get back on the blocks in a relaxed and welcoming Masters environment.
