WEEKEND REVIEW:

U14 Div 1 – unfortunately, the team went down 4 tries to 3 to Sunnybank and their season is now over. It was a tight tussle between both clubs, but the team never gave up eventually going down 22-14.

U16 Div 1 – in a back-and-forth game and the scoreboard being 3 tries all the team went down 18-14 to Logan. It was a great game, and the team should be proud of their achievements this year. Look forward to seeing the squad back next year for their final year of junior footy.

U17 Div 2 – the team skipped away to a HT lead of 16-0 against Burpengary but with less than 5 mins to go the score was 20-18 to Souths. In the final min the boys rallied and scored a great try to seal the win 24-18. Next week they play the undefeated Waterford for a place in the GF.

In other exciting news both our BRL Premier U21’s and BRL Premier reserve grade have qualified for semi-finals!!

U21’s will take on Valleys and Reserve Grade will take on Carina both being elimination finals.

Our U13 Div 1 will play for a spot in the GF on Sunday as well – after a few weeks off the team is ready to get stuck into finals footy.

Keep an eye out for finals locations and times and it would be great to see all the Magpie supporters out and about supporting the teams this weekend.
