We're after experienced Bench Officials to help our Grand Finals run like clockwork!

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙:
• Experience scoring matches using NetballConnect
• Confident using electronic scoreboards
• Reliable and able to remain focused throughout the match
• Previous experience in a competition or finals environment is preferred
• Blue Card (QLD Working with Children)

🏆 When: Friday 4th Sept
🏐 Time: 6.00pm - approx. 9.45pm (2 matches)
💵 Payment: $30 per match

We are excited to offer our current GBNL Association Coaches and Assistant Coaches the opportunity to develop and enhance their coaching skills through our upcoming Game Analysis and Match Play Review Workshop, facilitated by Karen Topp (“Toppy”).

This practical session is designed to help you better analyse match play and apply insights directly to your coaching.

Workshop Details:
📅 Sunday, 12 July 2026
⏰ Session runs alongside Emerald matches
✳️ Full Workshop: 12:00pm – approximately 3pm
✳️ Pre-game coaching session from 12pm
✳️ Emerald game - 1pm
✳️ Post-game debrief: 20–30 minutes following the match
📍 Venue: Nissan Arena

Cost:
▪️$25 per participant (includes a GBNL notebook and pen)
▪️EFT payment must be made by 05/07/2026
Please note: All fees are non-refundable. If payment is not received by the due date, your place will be offered to the next coach on the waitlist.

Conditions:
🟢 Must be a current (2026) registered GBNL Team Coach or Assistant Coach
🟢 Strictly limited numbers

We are incredibly proud of Steering Committee member, Susan Bamford, who was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2026 King's Honours List for service to netball last week.

Congratulations Susan, this award is well and truly deserved considering the number of hours (and years) you have given to the game of netball.
