Natives Rifle Club

Oh what a day it was at the MDRA 800 yard fixtures. It was such an awesome day with conditions that are a rare sight at Belmont - and the smiles said it all! Double possibles were there for the taking and our superstars certainly took them! TR, F CLASSES & SPORTER - well done to all. It's great to see so many giving it their all in the club fixtures. We're super-proud of you all.

Power naps to power house at 600 yards. Congrats to Mirko and Bob - 105.10 and 105.8 respectively in TRA. Karen is certainly on her way to going back to A grade - once again pipping the captain by a v-bull! And... Natives had the top 5 in TRB - go Natives! TRC - you guessed it - Joe up the top if only on v-bulls! Nice work Joe!

FSA - nice work by Ivor - only 1 off the leader. Tom gave it his best in FSB - so close. Nice work Oliver is F Open. Our F/TR trio of John, Kristine and Craig gave it a shake - only 2 off the winner.

Megan noce again showed her awesome progress in SPC - only 1 down for the day. Wayne and Wendy were just behind. And well done Steve: 102.10!

Ricky came achining close in SPCO with a great hit - 105.17 - just 1 v bull behind Robert Jackson.

Native’s Club members, Karen Heald in TR-B and David Noonan in S-PC have both won their respective disciplines in the 2026 University of Queensland Rifle Club’s Prize Meeting.

Fellow clubmates Bob Crawford and Leigh Marett were 2nd and 3rd respectively in TR-A while Karlen Klopper, Ricky Chalk and George Constantinou finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in S-PCO.

Karen put together an outstanding campaign to claim the TRB Grand Aggregate at the University of Queensland Rifle Club OPM 2026, with consistency right across the program.
