Navratri Day 9 :Pink (Devi Siddhidhatri)

Siddhidhatri or Siddhidatri is the ninth and final among the Navadurga (nine forms) aspects of the Hindu mother goddess Mahadevi.
The meaning of her name is as follows: Siddhi means supernatural power or meditative ability, and Dhatri means giver or bestower.
Maa Siddhidatri is revered as the giver of eight siddhis - Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ish*tva, and Vash*tva—helping devotees transcend ego and material attachments to attain inner peace and moksha.

Maa Mahagauri, the eighth incarnation of Goddess Durga, symbolizes the transformative journey facilitated by devotion and inner purification.
As the embodiment of beauty, purity, and serenity, her name is rooted in her unwavering dedication to winning Lord Shiva's affection through intense penance.
The etymology of her name reveals 'Maha' to mean 'great' or 'supreme,' and 'Gauri' to signify 'fair' or 'white.'
