What a weekend !

When it was announced how many entries had been received for the QLDC I knew we were going to have to dig deep and put our best foot forward … and that we did !

I’m so proud of the the Uber Line Dance comp team who trained there butts off to be the best they could be on the day. We are a young team and the confidence is growing with each comp that goes by. The way you get behind each other, be each others biggest supporters and genuinely care about each other is something truly special to be apart of.

We all came away with a podium finish which was no easy feat considering how many competitors were in some of those sections.

I can’t be more proud of the way you represented yourselves as well as team uber ! Thank you for your time, commitment and dedication to the competition and as we said from the start it’s not about the destination it’s the journey!

Mickie, Lauren, Brooke, Siobhan, Jade, Kylie, Danielle, Stephen ! You are all legends and deserve a well earned break until we work out what comp is next !

Thank you to everyone that supported the team to achieve their fantastic results. It means the world to us to have supportive partners , families, friends.

What a cracker of a day ! Everyone that came to Ekka 2026 thank you all for brining the energy and showing off our favourite pass time to the masses. We danced , we cheered, we laughed and am so grateful to the instructors that jumped on board for this years event.
Thank you everyone for the best Ekka hoedown showdown to date. I wasn’t able to get many pics of the day but I’m hoping there will be plenty being shared!
Congratulations to all the groups that put so much time and effort into their showdown performances and specially to those that traveled such a long way to join us.

🌟 August Update – Where's Luke & What's Happening This Month?

Hi everyone!

As many of you know, I've been battling illness over the past few weeks. I'm doing everything I can to recover while keeping as many classes running as possible. To help with this, I've had to reduce my teaching load and have arranged some fantastic guest instructors to cover where they can.

On top of recovering, August is a busy month with the Ekka Hoedown and two dance competitions—one local and one in New Zealand!

Here's what to expect over the next few weeks:
