But what do we do at night on one of your Stanthorpe trips ๐คทโโ๏ธ
It's a question we get asked a lot because most events are all about the riding but for us a trip is soooo much more...
We gather by the ๐ฅ pit for late afternoon drinks and nibbles, sharing stories of our day, connecting with new friends before enjoying dinner together in Pioneer Hut and maybe a trivia night.
There's time to enjoy a relaxing private outdoor bath or do some star gazing as you kick back, relax and think about doing it all again the next day.
We can't wait to get back to Luxury Accommodation Cottages with fireplaces in Stanthorpe in 4 weeks time as we celebrate the Cartel's 5th Birthday with our guests.
There is one room still available for this premium gravel tour so if 4 days and 3 nights all inclusive tour to the Granite Belt sounds like just what you need head to www.gravelcartel.com for full details.

What a blast this week has been with Kelly & Will from Hobart on the BVRT.
Bit of a long story but between Will and myself we were able to keep the Gravel adventure a surprise for Kelly. Even the new Cervelo gravel bike was a surprise ๐ฎ
While they are real new to gravel riding they were up for a big challenge and nailed it... 161km over 2 days with lots of smiles along the way ๐
It was great to wrap a little more support around them which included meeting them on my bike on the trail, checking in on them, updating them on trail conditions and then catching up at the end of each day.
We look forward to watching their journey as gravel riders now that they have well and truly gotten the gravel bug!

It's always great to add a little something extra to our riders day. Today we got the drone up to catch some footage of them riding the BVRT before they head back to Hobart.

Behind every great rail trail or country adventure are the local people. They're the ones who are making that coffee, pouring that beer, preparing that meal and running local shops.
Without them we'd not only be hungry and thirsty the whole experience just wouldn't be the same.
Riding the BVRT or any other trail take the time to stop in, say g'day and spend some $$ and show them how much we appreciate them.

Banked a bit of good Karma today helping out a visitor to the BVRT from the NSW Central Coast.
The lady had all the gear and knew what to do just couldn't get that stubborn tyre off. After a bit of help and a good chat she was on her way ๐
Thx to Christine who was riding past and snapped a quick pic ๐
