This year we're changing things up for our End of Year Gathering, and I couldn't be more excited!
We'll kick off the morning with a delicious breakfast burrito and coffee from our fabulous coffee van before we hit the dance floor for a Line Shuffling class.
Before anyone asks... NO, I won't be teaching the class! 😂 I'll be right there beside you, trying to keep up, laughing, learning and hopefully not tripping over my boots!
Most importantly, every dollar raised from this event will go to a cause that's incredibly close to my heart—Pink Pilbara Haulage, the charity chosen in memory of my brother Simon. They do amazing work helping and educating women to become truck drivers and create new opportunities in the transport industry.

🎀 EVIL BARBIE, WE HAVE A MISSION! 🎀
Our gorgeous Donna is getting her walking shoes on this September and taking on a 78km challenge to raise money for pancreatic cancer research. 💪💕

Pancreatic cancer is one of Australia’s toughest cancers, and Donna is doing her bit to help change that.

She’s currently sitting at $342 of her $480 fundraising goal — but we reckon the Evil Barbie crew can do MUCH better than that! 😈

So come on, ladies (and gentlemen!) — let’s get behind Donna, throw a few dollars her way and blow that fundraising total right out the door!

Sally celebrated her birthday last weekend, Cheryl's big day is this Monday, so in true Evil Barbee style we decided to meet in the middle and celebrate them both today. 🎂🎶

It has been an absolute honour and privilege to raise money for Kristen's Living Legacy. Every ticket purchased, every donation made and every bit of support helps fund vital gynaecological cancer research. Every single dollar really does make a difference.

Congratulations to all of our raffle winners! I have to admit, I had a little chuckle when Archie, one of the newest members of our Ken Do men's group, walked away with the gorgeous pink Evil Barbee insulated drink bottle... and the jewellery box! 😂 We may have converted him to pink a little quicker than expected!

To everyone who donated prizes, bought tickets and supported the raffle—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and generosity are what make this community so special.

Together we've raised $550 towards research, hope and better outcomes for women and their families.

A Fabulous Sydney Night Out 💕✨
One of the Pink Ladies, Shirley, has a wonderful sister Wendy who is putting on this fabulous show in Sydney on Saturday, 10 October, and I’d absolutely love to extend the invitation to anybody who would like to come along! 💕💋
It’s going to be a glamorous and fabulous evening at The Birdcage on York, featuring cabaret and burlesque, dinner and a wonderful show. 🪶🥂✨

Featuring a vocalist/MC, Ladybird Showgirls and specialty burlesque artists.

🍽️ Dinner will be served throughout the evening.

🎟️ Tickets are $130, including dinner and the show.

I currently have tickets on hold, and we already have 10 people interested, so it would be wonderful to get an idea expressions of interest.

The plan is to fly down Saturday, stay Saturday night, enjoy the show together and come home Sunday. ✈️🥂

This is just a numbers-gathering exercise at this stage. Flight Centre will be organising the group booking for flights and accommodation. Once the numbers are confirmed, everyone will be given a link to purchase their own flights and accommodation.

One thing I've learnt over the years is that coaching isn't about delivering the perfect class.

It's about delivering the best class for those people on that day.

Every session teaches me something. Every client teaches me something.

I'm always adjusting, always listening, always learning. Some of the questions I ask myself are listed below.

If you walk out of the studio smiling a little more, standing a little taller or feeling a little stronger than when you walked in…

Then that's a pretty good day at Evil Barbee.

Our gorgeous Zumba Gold instructor, Ileana, will be performing today with Querencia Venezuelan Dance Group at the Latin Kids Fiesta! 💃❤️

If you're looking for something fun to do on the 22nd August why not head along and cheer her on? She'll be performing around 12:00–12:15 pm.

We know she'll light up the stage just like she lights up our classes each week. Have an amazing time, Ileana – we'll all be cheering you on! 🎉💃🇻🇪
