Over the past 10 weeks, I had the joy of sharing mindfulness and the beautiful tools of yoga with the Wednesday group 💛🩷💚💙💜

Through movement, breath, stillness, play, and kindness, we explored simple practices that these little humans can carry with them into their mornings when they're getting ready, their evenings when emotions are high and energy is low and into the rest of their lives

As they prepare for the exciting transition to prep next year, my hope is that they'll remember they always have their breath to help them find calm, courage, and confidence☺️💪

Watching children discover these tools at such a young age is incredibly meaningful. If we can help them build resilience, self compassion, kindness and emotional and physical awareness

It's been such a joy and a privilege to be a small part of their journey

🧘‍♀️✨ Happy International Yoga Day ✨🧘‍♀️
Today I'm reflecting on how grateful I am that yoga found its way into my life.
What began as a physical practice has become so much more, a way of living, connecting, growing, and returning home to myself.

Yoga isn't just something that happens on a mat; it's something we carry into every conversation, every choice, and every interaction with the world around us.

Here are 5 simple ways.We can all include some yoga in our everyday lives

🌿 Ahimsa (Kindness)
Practice being kinder to yourself, no matter what happens, remember to breathe and give yourself some grace and compassion💖

🌿 Satya (Truthfulness)
Be honest about how you feel and what you need with yourself and others. Don't be afraid to put boundaries in place

🌿 Asteya (Respect)
Value yours and other people's time, energy, and contributions. Remember we are all different, lets celebrate diversity and lift each other up 🙌

🌿 Brahmacharya (Balance)
Protect your energy by focusing on saying yes to what truly matters and brings you joy, fufillment and happiness

🌿 Aparigraha (Letting Go)
Release and let go of what isn't serving you and make space in your mind, life and energy field for more of the good stuff

✨ Yoga isn't just what we practice on the mat it's how we choose to show up in the world each day

A Friday afternoon spent renewing my First Aid & CPR Skills 🩹⛑️🤕

You never know when you might need them, hopefully never but I feel better knowing I have these skills and knowledge

Every year I learn something new

❗️If you don't already have the Emergency Plus App I highly recommend getting it
It will give you your exact coordinates and an easy one, tap access to emergency services

❗️ And if you've never done first aid and CPR training, I highly recommend having a look at that too. Trainings can cost as little as one hundred dollars and can be free for certain communities and community groups
