Exercise of the Week | Episode 2: The Copenhagen Plank

Welcome back to Episode 2 of our Exercise of the Week series!

Each week, one of our coaches breaks down a key movement from Lift, our strength-focused resistance training program that’s included as part of our Small Group Training membership.

This week, Coach Julian takes us through one of the most underrated exercises you can add to your training: the Copenhagen Plank.

While it may not look as impressive as a heavy squat or deadlift, the Copenhagen Plank develops strength where it matters most. By targeting the adductors (inner thigh muscles), core and hips, it helps create a more stable and resilient lower body.

When performed well, the Copenhagen Plank helps build:

* Stronger adductors (inner thighs)
* Improved hip and core stability
* Better balance and control
* Reduced risk of groin and lower body injuries
* A stronger foundation for squats, deadlifts, lunges and other lower body lifts

Strong supporting muscles are essential for getting the most out of your training. The more stable you are, the more efficiently you can produce force, improve technique and lift with confidence.

Lift More, Worry Less 💪🏽

Exercise of the Week | Episode 1: The Deadlift

Welcome to the first episode of our new Exercise of the Week series!

Each week, one of our coaches will break down a key movement from Lift, our strength-focused resistance training program that’s included as part of every Small Group Training membership.

This week, Jack takes us through one of the most important exercises you can learn: the Deadlift.

The deadlift is one of the most fundamental movement patterns we perform. Whether you’re picking up shopping bags, moving furniture, playing with your kids or simply lifting something safely from the floor, it’s a movement that translates to everyday life like few other exercises.

When performed well, the deadlift helps build:
- Total body strength
- A stronger posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings and back)
- Better posture
- Core stability
- Confidence lifting everyday objects safely

At One Fitness, we believe understanding why you’re doing an exercise is just as important as learning how to do it.

Keep an eye on our socials as we’ll be releasing a new exercise every week, giving you practical coaching tips and helping you get more from every Lift session.

Lift more. Worry less. 💪

After 30 years of watching people join gyms, I’ve come to one conclusion...
I don’t think most people fail.
I think the system fails them.
For years, the fitness industry has sold the idea that success comes down to motivation, discipline or willpower.
I don’t believe that’s entirely true.
The people who succeed usually have something else:
A plan.
Someone to guide them.
A community to connect with. A system that keeps them moving forward, even when motivation disappears.

That’s the philosophy we’ve built One Fitness around for the last 30 years.
